Lemony Garlicky Cream Sauce


Alright, as promised here it is!  The cream sauce that I made for my savoury sweet potato ravioli. It's creamy, garlicky and zesty  flavour will have absolutely no one believing it's Vegan. 


Ingredients are; 

  • 1/8 cup white flour
  • 1/8 cup vegan butter 
  • 2 tsp's minced garlic 
  • 2 tsp's dried chives 
  • 1 1/5 tsp's of lemon zest 
  • I can of coconut milk 
  • Dash of pepper 

Combine all ingredients into a sauce pan and whisk together. Simmer with lid for 15 - 20 minutes while whisking ingredients frequently. Serve over or toss with your favourite pasta, use for a risotto, pour over a baked potato or choose another food item to eat with.
