Key Lime Pie Smoothie Bowl


If I could choose one treat to have for the rest of my life, it would be key lime pie; hands down!! The more tarty the treat, the better. I don't know why the idea of this smoothie bowl didn't pop up in my brain sooner, but I'm definitely glad it finally decided to show up! 

Equipment needed for this is a juicer and a food processor. It's best to make this for more than just yourself, as it is a lot of clean-up. But, it was well worth it for myself because I don't really mind the clean up and it tasted delicious AF.  Serving sizes below are for 1 - 2 people, all depends on; how much you typically eat, how hungry you are and if this is a meal or a dessert.  

Ingredients; 

  • 3 frozen bananas, sliced. (Pre-slice before freezing). 
  • 1/2 of an apple 
  • 1 lime 
  • 1/4 of an avocado 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or powder 


Juice the apple and lime. 

Put the frozen banana slices, avocado and vanilla extract or powder in food processor. Blend until smooth. Then add the apple & lime juice to blend into the mixture. 

Put in bowl(s) and top with;

  • Shredded coconut
  • Assorted berries 
  • Almond butter 
Also, feel free to add Vegan graham cracker crust crumbled on the top! 😋😋
