This is a tropical island in a bowl. If you're sick of Winter, make this for breakfast and dive your spoon right into that Summer feeling. Even if you do live on a tropical Island or somewhere not so Winter like, this is the perfect breakfast or treat. I guarantee it!
To start your trip to culinary paradise, it all starts with the base which has the following;
- 1.5 - 2 frozen banana slices
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 2 TBSP of acai juice or 1 TBSP of acai powder
- 1 serving vegan vanilla protein. I like Sun Warrior or Vega.
- 1/4 cup soy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or powder
Start with the frozen bananas and put them in the food processor or high quality, high powered blender until it's blended into a smooth frozen delight. Then add pineapple & acai juice until everything is blended together. Finally, add the vegan vanilla protein, soy milk and vanilla extract.
Put in bowl and top with; 1/8 cup of almond butter, strawberries, raspberries, mango and chia seeds. You could also add shredded coconut too.
